Cypress Hills Resource Corp. is a Canadian company engaged in the evaluation, acquisition, exploration and development of oil and gas properties in Western Canada and Texas. The Company's two areas of focus are Maverick County, Texas and the Province of Alberta. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had interests in four oil and gas properties. The Company�s properties include Wizard Lake, Penhold and Sunset House. As of January 24, 2012, the Company was active in the Wizard Lake/Thorsby area, located 50 miles north of Red Deer, Alberta, with three producing wells. The Company has interests in an exploration and evaluation property, the Hotchkiss property in Alberta, and the property has an 18.75% interest in a six section block of Crown land located 40 miles northwest of Peace River in the Hotchkiss area of Alberta.
