Coalspur Mines Limited (Coalspur) is a coal exploration and development company with approximately 55,000 hectares of coal exploration leases located within the Hinton region of Alberta, Canada. The Company is engaged in the acquisition exploration and development of thermal coal resource projects in the area of Hinton, Alberta, Canada. The Company�s projects include Vista Coal Project, Vista South Coal Project and Vista Extension. Vista is the flagship project of Coalspur. Vista covers approximately 9,984 hectares and provides a large scale, surface mineable, thermal coal project. The Company completed a Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) on Vista, in January 2012. The Vista South Coal Project is located approximately six kilometers southwest of the Vista Coal Project and covers approximately 23,000 hectares. Vista Extension covers approximately 14,400 hectares of coal leases. In April 2012, it acquired Vista Extension, consisting of 14,432 hectares of coal leases.
