Atlantic Gold NL is an exploration company for gold. It is engaged in precious mineral exploration in Nova Scotia, Canada. As of December 31, 2011, the Company focused on Touquoy Gold Project and Cochrane Hill Gold Project, and Nova Scotia gold fields. The Cochrane Hill Gold Project consists of 53 mineral claims (8.3 square kilometers) and is located 80 kilometers east of Touquoy Gold Project. The Touquoy Gold Project represents the first stage of the conceptual 10-year production plan for the combined Touquoy-Cochrane Hill Gold Project of 900,000 ounces. In June 2012, vesting orders were granted in relation to the 14 remaining surface land title for the Touquoy Gold Project. As of December 31, 2011, the Company targeted four zones: West Caledonia, Caduesky Lake, Moses Lake, and East Rawdon. As of December 31, 2011, the Company held its own right around 1000 square kilometres of exploration property in Nova Scotia, as well as a number of options over property held by third parties.
