Niko Resources Ltd. (Niko) is engaged in the exploration for and development and production of natural gas and oil in India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, the Kurdistan region of Iraq, Trinidad, Pakistan and Madagascar. The Company has a 10% working interest in the 7,645-square-kilometer D6 Block in India, which comprised 78% of the Company�s oil and gas revenue; a 33% working interest in the 50-square-kilometre Hazira onshore and offshore block; holds a development area of 24 square kilometers containing the Bheema and NSA shallow natural gas fields; a 10% working interest in the NEC-25 Block; a 15% interest in the D4 Block, and a 100% working interest and operates the Cauvery block, which covers 957 square kilometers. The Company holds a 60% interest in Block 9 6,880-square-kilometre onshore block that encompasses the capital city of Dhaka. In Indonesia, it holds interests in production sharing contract (PSCs) for 21 offshore exploration blocks covering 108,876 square kilometers.
