Tax filing deadline pushed back to May 5; 'human error' blamed
Canadians procrastinating on filing their 2014 income taxes now have five extra days in which to do so. The Canada Revenue Agency mistakenly sent a note to tax preparers indicating that the filing deadline was May 5, rather than April 30.
