BioSyntech, Inc. is a development-stage company. The Company develops advanced biotherapeutic thermogels specifically designed for tissue repair and delivery of therapeutic agents. It focuses its efforts on the development of its lead program BST-CarGel, a natural biopolymer derived from the shells of crustaceans. Using its BST-Gel technology platform, BST-CarGel is being developed as a treatment for the regeneration of cartilage in the knee. BioSyntech is developing a first product for cartilage repair and it has reached clinical trial stage.
