The company buys and services credit card accounts and consumer debt from creditors/owners, and through long-term partnership arrangements with retailers, health care providers, and financial institutions. Genesis' bank card services issues credit cards to debtors who agree to transfer their balances onto Genesis cards. Other services include student loans for trade school educations and credit cards for consumers with poor credit or no credit history. The company services more than $2 billion in consumer debt.
