The West Virginia House of Delegates makes it easier for residents to tell right from wrong. The House, along with the Senate, helps create laws for the state. About 100 House members, who serve on a wide range of committees focusing on topics from education to health care, study, debate, and vote on bills. In order for a bill to become law, it must pass both the House and the Senate. A two-thirds majority vote from both chambers will override a governor's veto.
