FMCS provides mediation services to federal, state, and local governments, as well as industry and communities. The organization also offers relationship development and training programs focusing on areas such as interpersonal communications, organizational development, and group facilitation. Formed under the Labor-Management Relations Act of 1947, the agency has more than 70 field and regional offices.
