Sazerac is in good spirits. The company has distilled and imported liqueurs and alcoholic beverages, from bourbon to vodka and whiskey, shooters, and liqueurs, since 1850. It produces the Sazerac brand whiskey and several bourbons under different names. It also makes Rain Organics and Platinum 7X distilled vodkas. Subsidiary Gemini Spirits & Wine is a US importer of spirits and wines, including rum and vermouth, red and white wine, and sak�. Sazerac is a family owned business held by William Goldring. In 2011 Sazerac acquired the Tortilla, Desert Island, and Barbarossa brands from spirits maker White Rock Distilleries, and, separately, several brands and a manufacturing subsidiary from Corby Distilleries.
