If pop culture doesn't fall under your radar, then perhaps you should keep up with Radar Online. The celebrity news and gossip site was relaunched in 2009; soon after it became the place to turn for stories about the Octo-Mom. Radar Online is majority-owned by supermarket tabloid firm American Media (home of the National Enquirer and Star magazines). American Media purchased the company in 2008 after ignoring the Web and passing on rivals such as TMZ and Perez Hilton. Radar was originally launched as a thinking person's magazine covering the media world; however, after several attempts, the concept ultimately failed.
