The firm's Shanghai-based subsidiary, Gaohuo, supplies wood and metal retail store fixtures to China and international markets. Store Kraft began in 1920 when candy retailer William Morton, frustrated with product presentation in his own store, sketched out an idea for superior candy displays and began selling them to interested buyers.
