Puget Sounders can earn their sheepskins at The Evergreen State College. The public liberal arts and sciences college, the largest of its type in Washington state, offers a variety of undergraduate degrees as well as graduate-level programs in environmental studies, public administration, and education. Evergreen is known for its unusual approach to learning; students enroll in comprehensive programs rather than a series of separate classes and courses are taught by teams of two to four professors. Students then receive "narrative" evaluations rather than traditional letter grades. Tuition per year is $5,133 (residents) and $16,440 (non-residents).
