Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery doesn't take its products lightly. As a heavy machinery manufacturer for the transportation sector, Tengzhong builds road-bridge and construction equipment such as dump trucks, asphalt spreaders, concrete conveyors, bridge piers, road-expansion joint fittings, and other equipment. It also makes special-use vehicles, as well as oilfield equipment, fuel tankers, and other machinery for the petrochemical and energy sectors. It operates two manufacturing plants in China and distributes its products primarily within the Chinese market. Teaming up with Beiqi Foton, it also makes mid-sized trucks. Previously a state-owned company, Tengzhong became a private company in 2005.
