The subsidiary of Genuine Parts is a leading distributor of office supplies and other business products, including furniture, computer accessories, office machines (such as printers and faxes), cleaning supplies, and break room necessities. It also offers products for health care providers and classrooms. S.P. Richards has more than 40 distribution centers throughout the US and Canada, and delivers some 50,000 products -- including proprietary brands such as SPARCO, Elite Image, and Lorell -- to almost 4,000 resellers. The company generates about 15% of its parent's revenue. It was founded in 1848 by Samuel P. Richards.
