Skogen's Festival Foods is a family-friendly affair. The family-owned-and-operated company runs about a dozen supermarkets under the Festival Foods and Skogen's Market banners all in Wisconsin. The regional supermarket operator also sells groceries online. The stores, conventional supermarkets that average 30,000 sq. ft., offer child care to shoppers with young children. Despite feeling the effects of several Wal-Mart supercenters that have moved into its markets, Skogen's continues to grow, adding two stores in 2007 and another in 2008. Founded in 1946 by Paul and Jane Skogen, today the company is run by their son Dave and his son, CEO Mark Skogen.
