Toray Plastics (America) could sing "foam, foam on the range, where the polyolefin materials are made" all day. Toray Plastics (America), or TPA, makes polyolefin foam that is used for automotive and flooring applications. The company also produces polypropylene (PP) and polyester films for the packaging and industrial markets. The only US producer of both PP and polyester films, TPA is a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Toray Industries (a manufacturing conglomerate of synthetic and carbon fibers, plastics, chemicals, and high performance films). TPA was founded in 1985.
