QSP sells magazines and other products through youth fundraising campaigns in the US and Canada. Other products sold include music and videos, food, gifts, and books. QSP works directly with schools to develop the campaigns, in which participants sell the products. Most of the company's sales occur in the fall school semester. QSP's Canadian subsidiary is called Quality Service Programs. QSP has a licensing agreement with World's Finest Chocolate, which requires the company to buy a minimum amount of products each year. In August 2008, Time bought QSP from A unit of The Reader's Digest Association for $110 million in cash. QSP was founded in 1963.
