Continental Tire the Americas (CTA, formerly Continental Tire North America) rounds out tire production for its German parent. The North American subsidiary of Germany-based tire and automotive component manufacturer Continental AG makes tires for cars, light- and heavy-duty trucks, motorhomes, commercial vehicles, SUVs, and agricultural and industrial vehicles. Its brands include a variety of Conti names (ContiExtreme, ContiTrac, ContiSport, etc.) as well as the General and Euzkadi brands and private labels. CTA's customers include BMW, Ford, Toyota, John Deere, Mack, and Volvo. The company has tire plants in Ecuador, Brazil, Mexico, and Canada as well as US locations in South Carolina and Illinois.
