The firm manages arenas, stadiums, performing arts centers, and convention centers throughout North America and Europe, as well as one in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Facilities managed by SMG annually host more than 10,000 events, and include more than 1.5 million seats. SMG was founded in 1977 with the management of its first facility, New Orleans' Louisiana Superdome, which is owned by the state.
