The firm designs and makes upscale indoor and outdoor furniture, including chairs, tables, sofas, and loveseats, for home and commercial use. Its brands include Brown Jordan, Casual Living, Charter, La-Z-Boy (under license), Lodging by Liberty, Wabash, and Winston. Residential products are sold by mass merchants (Home Depot and SAM'S CLUB); commercial lines are sold to hotels, restaurants, health care facilities, and schools. BJI is controlled by a trio of hedge funds: TCW Group, Stonehill Capital Management, and Litespeed Capital.
