Musgrave Retail Partners BG is a grocery and convenience store franchiser and food wholesaler. The Budgens side of the business supplies and franchises about 175 independently-owned Budgens' grocery stores in England and Wales, which sell brand-name and private-label fresh and convenience foods, spirits, and groceries. The Londis half of the business (acquired in 2004) supplies and franchises nearly 1,800 independent Londis convenience stores in the UK. To keep things tidy, the Irish parent company Musgrave Group folded its two UK retail businesses, Budgens and Londis, into a single unit. The UK subsidiary accounts for more than a third of Musgrave Group's sales.
