Letts Industries is engaged in metal part fabrication and industrial equipment sales through its two groups (four divisions). Manufacturing is comprised of Powers and Sons and Trek; Product Services includes Pioneer Forge and Letts Equipment. Powers and Sons unit makes steering and suspension parts for cars and light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks. Products include pitman and idler arms, track bars, and rear tow links. Letts Industries also serves as a US sales outlet for solid metal forming and powder metal compacting equipment made by Germany-based LASCO. Letts Industries can trace its origins back to 1915, when Charles Letts Sr. delivered his metal forgings to Henry Ford's factory by horse-drawn wagon.
