Valeo Inc. is the North American business segment of automotive parts concern Valeo, which manufactures and distributes an extensive line of clutches and transmission components, electrical and electronic devices, security systems, engine-cooling assemblies, wiper systems, and climate-controllers. Joint ventures affiliated with Valeo Inc. include automotive lighting producer Valeo Sylvania, and switch and detection systems maker Valeo Raytheon Systems. The North American business accounts for slightly less than 10% of its French parent's sales.
