The company makes a chilled and frozen meat-free lineup of food products under the Cauldron brand name. Offerings include vegetable-based burgers and sausages, as well as p�t�s, snacks, pantry ready meals, and plain and seasoned tofu. Founded in 1981, the company has grown from supplying small health food shops to major supermarket chains, such as Sainsbury's and Tesco, throughout the UK. Food manufacturing giant Premier Foods paired Cauldron with meat-free Quorn Foods maker Marlow, but sold off the two vegetarian branded businesses to Exponent Private Equity in 2011 for �205 million ($320 million).
