Just as there are different ways to shear a sheep, there are different ways to earn a sheepskin. One approach is through North Atlantic Regional High School (NARHS, also known as Homeschool Associates). The private, for-profit school offers high school diploma programs to homeschoolers and private and public school students who haven't received diplomas through conventional channels. The school evaluates and grants high school credits for students' coursework. Students must meet the credit requirements of the state of Maine and receive Maine diplomas, regardless of their residency. The school is accredited by the National Private Schools Association and was founded in 1989.
