If you buy a Moxie in the upper half of New England, there's a good chance it was supplied by Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Northern New England. (Moxie is a regional brand favored by New Englanders, especially those in Maine, since 1876, when it was sold as a patent medicine known as Moxie Nerve Food.) In addition to Moxie, the company distributes products made by The Coca-Cola Company, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, and Sunkist. It supplies areas throughout all six New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont), as well as New York state. The company, a subsidiary of Japan's Kirin Holdings, is one of the top Coca-Cola bottlers in the US.
