Gehl Company asks the question, "Can you dig it?" The company manufactures light-construction equipment bearing the Gehl and Mustang brand names primarily used by building contractors. Products include mini-excavators, mini-loaders, and skid steer loaders for material handling; telescopic loaders; and asphalt pavers for building sidewalks, parking lots, trails, and driveways. It has about several hundred independent dealers around the globe, but most are located in North America. Gehl also offers financing to its dealers and their customers. France-based MANITOU BF, previously one of Gehl's largest shareholders, acquired the company in 2008.
