One of the largest nitrogen producers worldwide, PCS Nitrogen is a unit of Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan, accounting for just about a a third of its business. PCS Nitrogen produces its parent company's nitrogen fertilizers and feed ingredients from three manufacturing facilities in the US and one in Trinidad. It produces ammonia, urea, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate, and nitrogen solutions. The parent company acquires the ammonia used in its other products at market rates through PCS Nitrogen. In addition to marketing its products to fertilizer customers, PCS Nitrogen also serves such industries as adhesives and plastics. Natural gas is the primary raw material of its products.
