Mxi Technologies' software is right at home as a cloud computing product, as it is used to manage aircraft maintenance operations. The company also offers related services in consulting, implementation, installation, and training. Mxi's core software platform is called Maintenix, available to small and midsized customers as Maintenix CE. The company's customers have included such high fliers as BAE Systems, Boeing, Hawaiian Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Rolls-Royce, Dassault Aviation, Lockheed Martin, and the US Navy. Established in 1996, Mxi was acquired in 2012 by private equity firm Moelis Capital Partners, which was founded in 2007 as a part of global investment bank Moelis & Company.
