The Straus Family Creamery raises its own dairy cattle and produces organic dairy products, including butter, yogurt, ice cream, and fluid milk (even barista milk). Owned by the Straus family, the California company uses milk from cows that are not given antibiotics or hormones and are raised on organically certified land and fed using organic feed. To boost its supply, Straus Family Creamery sources milk from two other family dairies nearby. Founded by Bill and Ellen Straus in 1941, the company became the first certified organic dairy west of the Mississippi River in 1993. It's positioned alongside Tomales Bay.
