Arkema Ltd. makes up the UK operations of diversified chemicals maker Arkema. For its French parent, it markets all manner of raw materials for the group's Industrial Chemicals segment, including acrylics, coating resins, hydrogen peroxide, and specialty acrylic polymers. It also sells and distributes the group's Performance Products, including functional additives, specialty chemicals such as activated carbons and specialty surfactants, and technical polymers. Arkema UK also maintains its own manufacturing facility, which produces perlite. Arkema subsidiary Altuglas -- maker of acrylic glass (PMMA) products -- also operates in the UK.The group is selling its vinyl operations to Swiss investment group Klesch.
