School bus services account for the majority of the company's sales. In addition, Atlantic Express provides paratransit services (transportation of people with disabilities) in New York City and offers charter, express, and fixed-route bus services, mainly as a contractor for New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Its fleet consists of a half dozen passenger sized sedans and wagons, a variety of school buses, and roughly 50 passenger luxury motor coaches. Atlantic Express was founded in 1964.
