Olhausen Billiards Manufacturing is right on cue. The company makes about 30,000 pool tables each year and it makes a variety of billiards accessories. Olhausen's line of pool tables are available in wood, veneer, and laminate materials and cover a range of styles, from classic or more contemporary looks to Harley-Davidson, NASCAR, Budweiser, or Jack Daniels theme tables. It sells to distributors, recreational centers, and retailers nationwide. Still a family-owned company, Olhausen was founded in 1972 by brothers Butch and Donald Olhausen, who started out moving and recovering pool tables before they bought a small billiards table manufacturing outfit (which was then making 35 tables annually) the next year.
