The company works with computer hardware and software from a variety of vendors; it partners with Actuate, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, and Quest Software, among others. Emerging Solutions can build Web portals, manage Web content, and implement Web services. Clients have included HSBC and the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune newspaper. In 2011 it was acquired by IT services company Emtec.
