The Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) wants everybody to settle down. The agency funds refugee protection and relief around the world and helps the tens of thousands of refugees and immigrants to the US. PRM creates policy on population, migration, and refugees and manages US refugee assistance and admissions programs. It works with the US Agency for International Development to administer US international population projects and cooperates with the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of Health and Human Services, and private groups to find permanent resettlement solutions for refugees to this country. PRM is part of the State Department.
