London's bus riders -- more than 6 million each weekday -- don't necessarily need anger management, but they do see a lot of red. To help them get around, London Bus Services, known as London Buses, manages the bus transportation system -- comprising some 7,500 iconic red buses -- of the UK's largest city. London Buses plans routes (a total of more than 700), maintains the system's infrastructure (which includes some 19,500 bus stops and stations), and arranges contracts with private companies to operate bus services. London Buses is part of Transport for London, a government agency.
