From the newest newborn to the most senior senior, Adventist HealthCare takes care of residents living throughout Maryland, the metropolitan Washington, DC-area, and northwestern New Jersey. The not-for-profit network, with its more than 2,000 physicians, is home to three acute care hospitals, two specialty care hospitals that offer inpatient and outpatient behavioral health care, and more than a dozen home health and rehabilitation operations. Its acute care hospitals include Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, and Washington Adventist Hospital, which combined, have 1,045 beds. Founded in 1907, Adventist HealthCare is affiliated with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
