The company sells its basketball wares in more than 125 countries through such companies as The Finish Line, Foot Locker, and Modell's. After initially making its mark with trash-talk T-shirts, the company has expanded its offerings to include shoes, men's and children's apparel, jerseys, bags and accessories. (About 20% of NBA players wear AND 1 basketball shoes.) The company also markets the AND 1 Mixtape Tour. The company was founded in 1993. Its "AND 1" name comes from the term in basketball used when a player gets fouled and scores anyway.
