Companhia Logistica de Combustiveis (CLC) pipes petroleum in Portugal. The company was founded in 1994 as the pipeline and storage subsidiary of Portugal's primary oil and gas group Galp Energia. CLC supplies the center of Portugal through the transport, logistics, and shipping of oil derivatives. The company is responsible for the operation of a storage plant and close to 150 kilometers of pipeline between Sines and Aveiras. The pipeline carries seven products in sequence -- diesel, butane, propane, jet fuel, and three grades of gasoline -- and up to 4 million tons of fuel per year. Galp Energia owns 65% of the company, while BP Portugal has 20% and Repsol has 15%.
