NCI Information Systems provides information technology (IT) services to the US armed forces and federal civilian agencies, on its own and in partnership with larger government contractors. The company primarily serves the US Department of Defense (DOD) and the intelligence community. Its services include IT security, records management, software design and maintenance, and test engineering. NCI also provides IT services to a number of civilian government agencies, such as the US Department of Energy and the General Accountability Office. The company is the main operating subsidiary of NCI Inc. which was established in 1989 by founder, CEO, and majority owner Charles Narang.
