Perhaps best known for "FHM", "ZOO", and other so-called "lads' mags," the company publishes more than 50 magazine in the UK, covering topics such as TV and entertainment, sports, and fashion. Titles include women's weeklies Heat and Closer, cinema monthly Empire, and specialist periodicals such as Car and Golf World. The business unit also distributes magazine titles in international markets including Australia, South Africa, and the US. Bauer Media is part of the British operations of German media firm Bauer Verlagsgruppe.
