Associated British Ports Holdings (ABP), the UK's largest port operator, offers ships more than 20 ports in a storm. The company's port-related services include container handling, dredging, piloting, and stevedoring. Together with its port operations, the company provides supply chain management services, including storage, warehousing, and distribution. ABP also is engaged in property investment and development activities, mainly having to do with land around its ports, and it provides consulting services related to marine environmental issues. An investment group led by Goldman Sachs owns ABP.
