BARBARA MUJICA is professor of Spanish at Georgetown University. She has published and lectured widely on early modern Spanish literature, and among her books are eight anthologies of Spanish and Spanish American literature. Her latest novel Frida, is an international bestseller that has been translated into ten languages.
