All applicants are required to submit a soft-copy of official or unofficial transcripts via the online application. If you are enrolled in a bachelor’s program, please plan to submit your undergraduate transcripts to date. If you are a master’s or PhD student, please plan to submit your transcripts for all degrees earned and in progress. We will require all finalists to provide an official transcript.
The Google Scholarships team accepts reference letters through our online scholarship application, only. You will be asked for the relevant information when you complete the online application. Please include the name and contact information for each of your references when you complete the online application. Each contact you enter will receive an email from Google email@example.com, with instructions on to submit their letter electronically. Please do not send us letters. Please advise your reference writers that reference letters are due on February 28, 2013.
Yes. Please send us a verification letter from the university to show that you will be enrolled in the new program/school in the 2013-2014 academic year.

The Anita Borg Scholarship is dedicated to supporting students who are studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related technical field majors.

Please note that the Google Anita Borg Scholarship does not include an internship with Google.
If you are interested in opportunities at Google, please check the box on the online application indicating that you are interested in opportunities at Google, and a Google representative will contact you if you are selected to move forward in the internship application process.
Google will distribute the scholarship funds directly to you for you to use towards tuition and education-related expenses.
The Google Canada Anita Borg Scholarship review process is administered in English. Please do submit all application documents in English.
Finalists are eligible to apply again for the 2013 Scholarship, Scholars are not.
